Cappella

Cappella (Italy) is not a band formed just a few years ago : its inception dates back to 1975. Only at that time, the name was different : The Cappella-Project. It started as a group of song-writers that created songs for other artists. Like the well-known Let's All Chant (Move Your Body) performed by the group Go... Cappella is mostly the creation of producer Gianfranco Bortolotti. Undoubtedly influenced by Motown's assembly-line aesthetic, Bortolotti coordinated the work of longtime producers team of DJ Professor, Mauro Picotto AKA R.A.F. and Pierre Feroldi AKA DJ Pierre to create dozens of European club/chart hits under the aliases Cappella, 49ers, Fargetta, R.A.F., Club House and East Side Beat.
